Little known secret to retaining
your best people

Ask any CEO or HR director and they likely will tell you that one of the most significant corporate resources during the next two decades will be talent - not only hiring the best and the brightest, but retaining them. 
 
However, as the demand for talent increases, the supply of available, qualified workers will decrease due to the number of baby-boomers retiring from the workforce. This "demographic shift" in the workforce will result in a major shortage of experienced leadership throughout the majority of American industries.
 
For decades, America experienced healthy population growth in the 20- to 64-age sector -- the main source of the labor force. But beginning around 2010, America will see a significant increase in the 65-and-over age group and a drop among 20-to-64 year olds. It's estimated that there will be a 30 percent shortfall of younger workers, a trend that will persist for 40 years.
